Terms of Service
Last updated: 28th Oct 2026
1. The service
Qwela lets you send and receive WhatsApp messages from your own number through an API. You link your number by scanning a QR code, the same way you link WhatsApp Web.
2. Not affiliated with WhatsApp
Qwela is an independent service. It is not made, endorsed or supported by WhatsApp or Meta. It connects to WhatsApp in a way WhatsApp does not officially offer, so WhatsApp may restrict or ban any number at any time, with or without a reason. We cannot prevent or reverse this. Use a number you can afford to lose.
3. Acceptable use
You must only message people who have agreed to hear from you. You must not send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, scams, threats, harassment, or anything illegal, and you must follow WhatsApp's own terms and the law. We may suspend or end any account that breaks these rules, without refund.
4. Payment
The price is shown on the Billing page and covers 30 days of access. Payment is by M-Pesa. Plans do not renew automatically. When the 30 days run out, the API stops sending until you pay again. Payments are not refundable except where the law requires it.
5. Availability
We work to keep Qwela running but give no guarantee of uptime or delivery. A message marked sent was accepted by WhatsApp. It may not reach or be read by the recipient.
6. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost messages, lost income, or a banned or restricted WhatsApp number. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days before the problem.
7. Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will post the new version here. You can stop using Qwela at any time. Ask us to delete your account at the address below.
